A military protective case is a reusable, hard-shell container that stores and transports equipment while limiting exposure to impact, dust, moisture and handling abuse. KeXin builds these cases by injection moulding a PP or ABS shell, fitting a gasket channel and stainless hardware, and finishing the interior with pick-and-pluck, die-cut or CNC-cut foam sized to the customer equipment.

What a military case has to survive
A depot case is opened in a workshop. A field case is dropped from a tailgate, dragged over gravel, stacked under load in a container, and left in direct sun for a week. Those are different engineering problems, and the difference is decided by four things: shell material, wall thickness, the latch and hinge load path, and the foam that actually carries the equipment.
KeXin publishes all four for every model rather than describing the case in adjectives. If a dimension or a thickness is not on the specification table, it has not been measured, and we will not claim it.
How the range is organised
Models are grouped into seven series by shell size and structural intent. The 0 and 1 series cover compact accessory and pistol-kit storage. The 6 and 7 series are the mid-size workhorses for radios, optics, medical kits and test sets. The 8 and 9 series are the heavy large-format shells used for weapons transport, field equipment sets and deployed medical or communications stores. The T series adds a telescopic handle and wheels for the same internal volumes, because a 15 kg case carried more than fifty metres is a logistics problem, not a storage problem.

We do not print an IP code, a drop height, a stack load or a temperature rating on a case unless the specific model has been tested for it in our facility or by a laboratory you appoint. Where a customer requires a certified figure, we quote the test as a separate, priced work package against the exact model and configuration, and the report belongs to you.

How to specify this family
Start from the equipment, not the case
Measure the tallest, widest and longest points of the packed equipment including antennas, handles and connectors. Add 20 mm minimum clearance per axis before selecting a shell.
Then choose the carrying method
Under 8 kg, a fixed handle is lighter and cheaper. Over 12 kg or any journey over 30 m, specify the T series with telescopic handle and wheels.
Then decide the interior
Pick-and-pluck for kits that change. Die-cut or CNC-cut for fixed layouts that must be auditable at a glance.

What is a military protective case?
A reusable hard-shell container designed to store and transport equipment while reducing exposure to impact, dust, moisture and handling abuse. It typically combines an injection-moulded thermoplastic shell, a compressible seal between lid and base, latches and hinges that carry the stacking load, and a foam interior shaped to the equipment.
What equipment can be stored in a military protective case?
Communications sets, radios and accessories, optics and sighting equipment, night vision and thermal units, medical and first-aid kits, field tools and maintenance sets, navigation and measurement instruments, drones and controllers with batteries, power supplies and cabling, and ammunition in storage and transport configurations.
What materials are used?
Ninety-four of our current models are moulded in PP, thirty-eight in an engineering-grade PP blend, and twenty-two in ABS. PP is preferred where the case sees solvents, fuels or repeated impact at low temperature. ABS is preferred where a stiffer panel and a cleaner printed finish matter more.
Can military protective cases be customised?
Yes. Custom foam, custom colour, screen-printed or embossed logo, identification plates, additional latches, lock hasps, pressure-equalisation valves, cable routing cut-outs and document holders are all available. A bespoke shell geometry requires a new mould.
How long does OEM production take?
Forty-five days from confirmed drawing and deposit when the case is built on an existing mould. One hundred and twenty-five days when a new mould is required, which covers mould design, machining, trial shots and dimensional sign-off.
What information should I send with an enquiry?
Equipment length, width, height and weight; quantity; the application; required protection features; foam and logo requirements; and target market. Drawings, photographs or a CAD file of the equipment shorten the first round of the proposal.
